Hamuro Tetsuo
Hamuro Tetsuo ( Japanese葉 室 鐵 夫; born September 7, 1917 in Fukuoka , Fukuoka Prefecture ; † October 30, 2005 in Takaishi , Osaka Prefecture ) was a Japanese swimmer .
At the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 , he was Olympic champion over 200 m breaststroke , making him the second Japanese after Yoshiyuki Tsuruta to succeed. In 1990 he was inducted into the international swimming pool 's hall of fame .
