Domenico Fioravanti (born May 31, 1977 in Novara ) is a former Italian swimmer .

He is one of the most successful Italian swimmers ever. At the Summer Olympics in 2000 in Sydney , he was m the 100 and 200 m breast each Olympic champion . This made him the first Italian swimmer to win Olympic gold. Before that, he had become European champion over 100 m breaststroke at the European Championships in 1999 and 2000 . He had to end his career in 2004 because of heart problems.
