Norbert Rózsa

Norbert Rózsa [ ˈnorbɛrt ˈroːʒɒ ] (born February 9, 1972 in Dombóvár ) is a former Hungarian swimmer .

At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he won the silver medal in the 100 m and 200 m breaststroke. Four years later, at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , he won the Olympic victory in the 200 m breaststroke. In 1991 and 1994 he became world champion in the 100 m breaststroke, and in 1991 also European champion over this distance. In 2005 he was inducted into the hall of fame of international swimming .
