Brenton Rickard (born October 19, 1983 in Brisbane , Queensland ) is an Australian swimmer .

At the 2007 World Championships in Melbourne , Rickard won a full set of medals. With the Australian 4 × 100 m individual medal, he won the gold medal, the silver medal over the 200 m chest and the bronze medal over 100 m chest. He also took seventh place over 50 m in the same discipline.

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , Rickard won the silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke in 02: 08.88 minutes. He finished fifth over the 100 m chest. He was successful at the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi , where he won the 4 × 100 m medley relay and over 200 m chest; there was also a silver medal over 50 m breast and a bronze medal over 100 m breast.
