Oleh Volodymyrowytsch Lissohor ( Ukrainian Олег Володимирович Лісогор , scientific transliteration Oleh Volodymyrovyč Lisohor or Oleg Lisogor ; born January 17, 1979 in Brovary , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Ukrainian swimming athlete .

Lissohor was one of the world's best 50m breaststroke swimmers and was able to set several world records. He also won the gold medal in the 50m breaststroke at the 2001 World Swimming Championships . At the European Championships in Budapest in 2006 , Lissohor won gold over the 50 m chest, silver with the 4 × 100 m individual relay and bronze over 100 m chest.

After the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , where Lissohor missed the finals over 100 meters chest by just a hundredth and thus finished ninth overall, he announced his retirement as an active competitive athlete at the age of 29.
