Thaddée Ntihinyurwa

Thaddée Ntihinyurwa (born September 25, 1942 in Kibeho , Rwanda ) is a Rwandan clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kigali .

Life

Thaddée Ntihinyurwa received on 11 July 1971, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 5, 1981 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the Bishop of Cyangugu . The Apostolic Nuncio in Rwanda, Archbishop Thomas A. White , donated him episcopal ordination on January 24, 1982 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Butare , Jean-Baptiste Gahamanyi , and the Bishop of Nyundo , Wenceslas Kalibushi . On March 9, 1996, John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Kigali .

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on November 19, 2018.
