action
Catherine, who has just returned to London, wants to marry Jonathan, whom she has only known for a short time, but she doesn't quite trust him. She moves in with him first. She soon made the acquaintance of the somewhat mysterious Renée, who lives in the neighboring apartment. She becomes her friend and confidante. It is Renée who then suggests to Catherine to hire a private detective, especially since the first dissonances arise in Catherine's relationship with Jonathan. Renée introduces her to the private detective Jeremy. He suggests to Catherine to put her future son to the test with a so-called "honey trap", and for this purpose hires the young, attractive Isobel, who should put Jonathan to the test. Reluctantly, Catherine agrees, but when the video footage shows that Jonathan is loyal, she is more than embarrassed and so she decides not to use Jeremy's services anymore.
Catherine and Jonathan get married, have a wonderful honeymoon together and everything else seems to be going well. Then, however, Catherine's doubts about Jonathan return. Again and again there are anonymous phone calls and soon also visits from Jeremy during the night. The initially happy relationship between the newlyweds threatens to turn into the opposite when Catherine receives photos of her husband and a stranger at an intimate dinner. The doubts that creep Catherine seem to be justified this time.
Catherine decides to get to the bottom of this and find out the truth about Jonathan.
