The Masterpiece ( Chinese  名 鑄  /  名 铸 , Pinyin Míngzhù , Jyutping Ming 4 zyu 3 ) is a skyscraper with 64 floors (above ground) - additional 4 basement floors - and 257 meters in height in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) - an expensive shopping mile in the densely populated Yau Tsim Mong District - Hong Kong . It houses the six-storey K11 shopping center on the lower floors and in the basement. The 381-room Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, located from floors 3 through 24, opened on October 2, 2009. 345 “luxury” residential units occupy the 27th to 67th floors.

The project was carried out jointly by New World Development (78.8% stake) and the Hong Kong "Authority for Urban Renewal and Development" - Urban Renewal Authority (URA, 市區 重建 局  /  市区 重建 , 21.2% stake) - developed. The building, along with other URA projects in the city, has been criticized for destroying the architectural heritage in Tsim Sha Tsui and adding to the further gentrification of the city, displacing the local less affluent.

geography

The high-rise, known internally by URA as the “Hanoi Road Project” (“K11”), is located on Hanoi Road 18 in the east of the Tsim Sha Tsui district - also called East-TST - on the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong, near the MTR - East Tsim Sha Tsui and Tsim Sha Tsui Subway Stations .

description

The lower part of the building is used as a shopping center, which extends over 31,600 square meters and six floors and was developed by New World Development and completed in December 2009. Retail and restaurants account for 80 and 20 percent of the space, respectively. It is marketed as an Art Mall as it houses various art exhibitions.

The Hyatt Regency Hong Kong at TST ( 香港 尖沙咀 凱悅 酒店  /  香港 尖沙咀 凯悦 酒店 ) is a five-star , 381-room hotel located on floors 3 through 24 of the complex. It opened on October 2, 2009. A total of 655 square meters is dedicated to business meetings, including a 381.9 square meter ballroom and eight meeting rooms of various sizes. All conference facilities are equipped with audiovisual technology and wireless internet connection. The hotel houses four restaurants.

In the upper area of the building there are penthouse residences and apartments that are among the most exclusive in the city. Apartment prices range from 22 to 110 million Hong Kong dollars (approx. 2 to 10 million euros ).
