The Real Booty Babes is a dance - project the music producer Jens children father and Jens Ophälders (also Jens O. ) founded and was a year of 2004.

history

The name of the project refers to bootlegs , so especially widely known current songs gecovert be. In the first few years of existence, the duo mainly produced dance and hands up . The formation's breakthrough came with the third single Since U Been Gone , a cover of the song of the same name by Kelly Clarkson from the previous year. After several commercially unsuccessful singles until 2008 managed a chart position again, this time with a revision of the Timbaland - Hits Apologize . In the same year, another chart entry followed with a cover of Katy Perry's number one hit I Kissed a Girl . After a few more singles and remixes , all of which were not very successful commercially, the grouping became quiet in early 2010.

The name The Real Booty Babes has been used again by Jens O. since 2012, mainly for DJ sets . Singles and remixes have also been released, but now in house style. Two best-of compilations were also released in 2013. The label of the project is YAWA Recordings .
