2-4 Grooves ("Zwei für die Grooves ") is a German house project founded by Sascha Mulder (Mr. Starfunk) and Stephan Drobez (Steve Sound).

history

2-4 Grooves was founded in 2002 by the music producer Mr. Starfunk from North Rhine-Westphalia and the DJ Steve Sound .

In 2004, the Love EP was their first release on Secret Service Records . Other EPs and singles followed, the music of which was often based on samples from well-known 80s artists such as Taylor Dayne , Phil Collins , Roxette or Whitesnake .

In 2006, the Melissa Etheridge cover The Way I Do was their first official track, which was the highest newcomer to the German DJ playlist in 2006 and topped the official Media Control dance charts. A remake of John Parr's St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion) followed the following year under the title Writing on the Wall . So they not only had a second big dance hit, but even made it into the official single hit parade.

In addition to their own publications, they have so far delivered over 50 remixes for artists such as Groovestylerz (We Are Family) , Cascada (Everytime We Touch) , Sylver (Lay Your Love on Me) , Aneela (Jande) or Conways feat. The Nick Straker Band (A Walk in the Park) .
