The Skulls 3 (Original title: The Skulls III ) is a Canadian thriller from 2004 and at the same time the second sequel to the thriller The Skulls from 2000. Directed by J. Miles Dale , the screenplay was written by Joe Johnson .
action
Taylor Brooks' brother dies during the admission ritual of the secret society The Skulls , to which the father of the siblings also belongs. Brooks goes to college in New England four years later . She applies for her own admission to the federal government, but is initially rejected as a woman. She then looks desperately for laws that will allow her to enter. She succeeds in forcing membership through legal channels. But the entrance exam will not be easy and Taylor in particular has to be careful. The leader of the Skulls tries to get revenge on Brooks by killing the woman's boyfriend. She is charged with the crime and proves her innocence on her own.
Reviews
David Nusair wrote in Reel Film Reviews that the film was packed with all the age-old clichés the genre had to offer. It is intended for viewers who have never seen a thriller.
The lexicon of international film wrote that “more or less cleverly woven intrigues” would push the action scenes “of the predictable film into the background” . What is remarkable is "at most the play of the main actress" .
Awards
Brooke D'Orsay was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the DVD Exclusive Award in 2005. The film was nominated for the 2005 Golden Reel Award of the Motion Picture Sound Editors for sound editing .
