Sturmvogel Theater

The Sturmvogel Theater is a professional independent theater based in Reutlingen . It was founded in 1999 by the actress Sandra Jankowski and the actor and director Frank Klaffke. It does not have a permanent venue, but regularly plays on the Reutlingen cultural center Franz.K and is one of the founding and sponsoring groups there. Among other things, it has been playing a monthly children's theater series there since 2009 . In addition, the theater makes regular guest appearances nationwide for cultural organizers such as municipal and municipal cultural offices, town halls , libraries , educational institutions and other cultural institutions such as socio-cultural centers and cultural initiatives with around 120 performances per year. According to a survey from 2017, events with around 190,000 spectators have taken place since it was founded in 1756.

Interactive children's theater

The Sturmvogel Theater has developed its own form of interactive children's theater . The actors are constantly involved in what is happening on the stage and they are encouraged to help shape and change the action through their own comments and suggestions. That is why the performances take their own turn each time, depending on the audience.

The evening programs are characterized by a wide range of styles. The Sturmvogel theater plays in the genres of classical drama , literature , musical theater , comedy and documentary theater .
