Thekla Jahn
Thekla Jahn is a freelance TV and radio journalist , radio presenter and lecturer in radio journalism at the Volkshochschule Düsseldorf and Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf . Her subjects are science , culture and social politics . She moderates some broadcasts on the radio programs of ARD and DLF.
Life
During her studies in German , Romance and English , she wrote for the Wolfenbütteler Zeitung and was a freelancer for the Jazz Podium and the features section of the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger as well as for Deutschlandfunk . After completing her studies, she did an internship at NDR and a temporary contract at Westdeutscher Rundfunk Köln as a TV editor and in the morning magazine on WDR2 . Since 1994 she has been a freelancer for radio and television on ARD and Deutschlandfunk. She is on the jury of the best songs list . She moderates the science reports of the program “ Forschung aktuell” , alternating with Martin Winkelheide , Mirko Smiljanic , Lucian Haas , Tomma Schröder and others.
