Theodor Loerbroks (born September 14, 1894 in Saarbrücken , † September 24, 1958 in Bonn ) was Lord Mayor of the city ​​of Lünen .

Life

Theodor Loerbroks was the son of the Secret Mountain Councilor Alfred Loerbroks (1859–1931). After graduating from high school at the Royal High School in Bonn at Easter 1913, he began studying law in Bonn and served in the First World War from August 2, 1914 to the end of November 1918 with the Cuirassier Regiment No. 8 . He then continued his studies in Bonn, passed his first state examination in law and became a trainee lawyer at the Cologne Higher Regional Court on July 1, 1920 . As Gerichtsassessor in August 1923 used in the Cologne Higher Regional Court, he was appointed magistrate Assessor in Bochum on March 1, 1926th Here in 1928 a magistrate was appointed and on December 1, 1934 an alderman. He joined the NSDAP on May 1, 1933 . Ludwig Runte , District President in Arnsberg, appointed Loerbroks Lord Mayor of the City of Lünen in July 1937. During World War II , Loerbroks served from February to November 1940 and from May 1941 to April 1944 as a major in the reserve. Back in office, he was dismissed on May 3, 1945 with immediate effect. In a denazification process , he was initially classified in Category IV and later in Category V (followers). Loerbroks was then from January 2, 1952 to June 30, 1952 employee in the Ministry of Culture of the State of Württemberg-Hohenzollern in Tübingen. Before he changed to the district president of Cologne in July 1955 , he was still active in the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Bonn. On April 30, 1956, he retired from the service.

Loerbroks was married to Alice Vogelsang, daughter of the mountain councilor Karl Vogelsang (1866–1920).
