biography

Biesemeyer drove his first FIS races in December 2004. After several podium places, he was used for the first time in the Nor-Am Cup in February 2007 . At the beginning of 2008 he won his first FIS races and in the 2008/2009 season he also achieved top positions in the Nor-Am Cup for the first time. The best result of the season was third place in Panorama Super-G on December 15, 2008. In March 2009, he took part in a Junior World Championship for the only time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , finishing eleventh in the Super-G and 14th in the giant slalom. After the end of the season he was accepted into the B-squad of the US ski team.

Before the start of the 2009/2010 season, Biesemeyer suffered a cruciate ligament rupture during training in Portillo , which is why he was unable to compete in the entire winter. At the end of November 2010 he took part in his first World Cup race in Lake Louise , but remained without points. He then achieved two third places in the Nor-Am Cup, before celebrating his first victory on December 13, 2010 in Panorama’s Super-G. With two more victories and a total of nine podium places, he decided the overall standings for himself in the 2010/11 season . In addition, he achieved a place in the top three in all discipline ratings - with the exception of slalom.

Since the 2011/12 season , Biesemeyer has been increasingly involved in the World Cup. He finished in the points for the first time on February 24, 2012, finishing 30th in the Super-G in Crans-Montana . He achieved his best World Cup result so far on December 27, 2016 with 8th place in the downhill from Val Gardena .
