Thomas Carmoy (born February 6, 2000 ) is a Belgian athlete who specializes in the high jump .

Athletic career

Thomas Carmoy gained his first international experience in 2016, when he finished sixth at the first European Youth Championships in Tbilisi with a jump of 2.07 m. The following year he was seventh at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto with a height of 2.17 m and in 2018 he reached eighth place at the U20 World Championships in Tampere with 2.19 m. In 2019 he won the U20 European Championships in Borås with a skipped 2.22 m and won the bronze medal at the Military World Games in Wuhan in October with 2.15 m behind the Russian Ilya Iwanjuk and Majd Eddin Ghazal from Syria.

In 2019 Carmoy became Belgian champion in the high jump outdoors and from 2018 to 2020 also in the hall.
