Thomas H. Cook

Thomas H. Cook (born September 19, 1947 in Fort Payne , Alabama ) is an American detective writer , teacher and journalist .

Life

Cook is the son of Virgil Richard Cook and his wife Myrick Cook. His educational and academic training included a bachelor's degree from Georgia State College , a master's degree in American history from Hunter College in New York (Hunter College of The City University of New York) and a master's degree in philosophy from Columbia University in the City of New York . Until his full-time activity as a writer in 1982, Cook worked in various activities: as an advertising specialist, as an employee for the "Association for Help of Retarded Adults", as an English and history teacher at the "Dekalb Community College" in Clarkston , Georgia . From 1978 to 1982 Cook was co-editor and editor of book reviews for "Atlanta Magazine".

Cook married radio writer Susan Terner on March 17, 1978. The couple have a daughter. You live in New York and Cape Cod .
