Thomas Keck (screenwriter)
Thomas Leo Julius Keck (born July 17, 1931 in Sofia ; † June 1, 2015 in Berlin ) was a German screenwriter , dubbing director and voice actor .
Life
Keck was responsible for the dialogue books of several series, including Kojak - Einsatz in Manhattan , Familie Feuerstein and Die Dinos . Keck's books were characterized by numerous new words and flippant sayings. So he invented Kojak's saying: “Adorable, baby!” And also provided the dialogues of the Feuerstein family with numerous sayings such as: “You probably don't have all the stones on your sling anymore!” That became popular words . He has also directed dubbing in numerous series, including the cartoon series DuckTales - Neues aus Duckburg . Keck often worked for Deutsche Synchron as a director and for Interopa Film as a director and author.
As a dubbing director, he was also responsible for numerous films, including the horror films Rosemary's Baby and The Riddle of the Silver Crescent .
Keck has also appeared in supporting roles in several films. For the first time in 1960 he stood for musical drama ... and cheeky too! in front of the camera, for which he co-wrote the script. Keck was also involved in the script for the crime film The Last Witness and the crime series Stahlnetz .
Thomas Leo Julius Keck died on June 1, 2015 at the age of 83 in Berlin. The funeral service and burial took place on July 3, 2015 at the state-owned cemetery in Heerstraße in Berlin-Westend (grave location: 10-D-5).
