Thomas Mary O'Leary

Thomas Mary O'Leary (born August 16, 1875 in Dover , New Hampshire , USA ; † October 10, 1949 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Springfield .

Life

Thomas Mary O'Leary received the sacrament of ordination for the Diocese of Manchester on December 18, 1897 .

On June 16, 1921, Pope Benedict XV appointed him . to the Bishop of Springfield. The Archbishop of Winnipeg , Arthur Alfred Sinnott , donated him episcopal ordination on September 8 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Baltimore , Michael Joseph Curley , and the Bishop of Manchester, George Albert Guertin .
