Thomas Pirker (born January 17, 1987 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Pirker began his career at AKA FC Kärnten, before moving to SV Spittal / Drau in 2005 . After a year in Spittal, he went to FC Kärnten , in the first division . After the takeover of Pasching by SK Austria Kärnten , FC Kärnten became a cooperation club of the first division and thus Pirker was allowed to play in the first division as well as in the Bundesliga with Austria. The Carinthian made his debut in the Bundesliga on August 11, 2007 in the 6th round match between SK Austria Kärnten and SV Mattersburg . Pirker was part of the successful Austrian U20 national team, which came fourth at the 2007 Junior World Cup in Canada . He was used twice during the tournament. In January 2009 he moved to 1. FC Vöcklabruck , but he could not prevent the team from relegating.

After only three games at Vöcklabruck, he switched to the Carinthian regional league team WAC / St. Andrä , with whom he made promotion to the first division . Two years later he moved from WAC to SK Austria Klagenfurt , which he left again in winter to join Villacher SV . At the beginning of 2013, Pirker first moved to SG Steinfeld in the Carinthian League and then to SV Sachsenberg in the minor league. With Sachsenberg, Pirker made it to the Carinthian League, but after just one season the team had to relegate again; At the end of the 2014/15 season, Pirker switched to ASKÖ Dellach / Drau and ASKÖ Wölfnitz for one year each. Since 2017 he has been playing in the Carinthian League at SV St. Jakob im Rosental.
