Tiago Fernandes Cavalcanti (born September 5, 1984 in Mirassol , Brazil ) is a Brazilian soccer player who also has Spanish citizenship .

Career

He and his compatriot André Oliveira de Lima were signed by 1. FC Cologne at the beginning of 2007 . Both players received a five-year contract in Cologne . After the end of the 2006/07 season, however, the Cologne squad was restructured. While the association continued to employ André, Tiago was initially no longer used in Cologne. Tiago was handed over to the EC Juventude in Caxias do Sul in southern Brazil . After half a year there, he moved to Joinville EC . He then played for several different Brazilian teams and also spent seasons in Iran and Morocco .

He is looked after by the well-known Brazilian player agent Juan Figer , who also advised his former Cologne teammate André . He has been playing for the Brazilian club Uberaba SC since 2017 .
