Tiffany Marie Weimer (born December 5, 1983 in Bridgeport , Connecticut ) is an American football player .
Career
society
Weimer began her football career in 2006 with the W-League participant Washington Freedom , before moving to SoccerPlus Connecticut in the WPSL for two seasons . After stints abroad at Åland United in Finland and the Brazilian club Santos FC , she returned to the USA and played for the WPS - Franchises FC Gold Pride and Boston Breakers from 2009 to 2010 . As a result, Weimer returned to Europe, where she joined the Swedish association AIK Fotboll Dam for a few months .
In 2011 Weimer played in 14 league games for the Canadian W-League participant Vancouver Whitecaps Women , before moving to Denmark for the first division club Fortuna Hjørring the following year . In June 2013, she joined together with her compatriot Casey Ramirez the Portland Thorns FC at. Weimer made her league debut there on June 22nd against Sky Blue FC , and she scored her first goal in the NWSL on August 7th against the Boston Breakers . In January 2014, she moved to league rivals Washington Spirit , but was out the entire season due to injury. Weimer only had four league games for Spirit by the beginning of 2016 before she was released. After another brief engagement at FC Kansas City and a detour to Kvarnsvedens IK in Sweden, she played for the Boston Breakers for one season in 2017 . Due to their dissolution shortly before the 2018 season, Weimer was signed by the Washington Spirit, but traded to the Houston Dash before the start of the preseason . When she didn't make it into the squad there, she returned to Washington in March 2018.
