Till Feser
Till Feser (born September 26, 1972 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a former German ice hockey player who was active for the Adler Mannheim and the Düsseldorfer EG in the German ice hockey league .
Player career
The 1.85 m tall winger began his career in the youth teams and later with the professionals of the ECD Sauerland in the 2nd Bundesliga , before moving to the Bundesliga for BSC Preussen in the 1992/93 season. After a year in the capital, the left-handed shooter signed a contract with the Mannheim ERC , for whose DEL team, the Adler Mannheim , he was still on the ice after the new top German professional game class was founded. Feser won the German championship with the Adler in 1997 , then moved to the second-class 1st Bundesliga with the Hamburg Crocodiles .
Since the 1998/99 season Till Feser played for the Düsseldorfer EG, with whom he was promoted to the DEL in 2000. The striker ended his professional career in 2001 , but played again in the 2002/03 season with the Ratinger Ice Aliens in the regional league .
In addition to his ice hockey career, Feser studied human medicine from 1998 to 2005 at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. In 2005, the doctor began his medical training at the renowned Accident Clinic Duisburg (BGU Duisburg) under the direction of H. Kortmann and the later medical director Peter-Michael Hax, for which he worked for almost 6 years until 2011. Feser then switched to orthopedics and spinal surgery at the St. Vinzenz Hospital in Düsseldorf-Derendorf under the direction of chief physician R. Steffen and J. Herdmann. In 2015 Feser then founded his own practice, DUS Orthopädie & Unfallchirurgie (www.dus-orthopaedie-unfallchirurgie.de) in Düsseldorf, which was expanded to include another location in Düsseldorf in July 2019.
Even after retiring from his career as a member of the DEL disciplinary committee, Feser remains connected to ice hockey to this day.
International
For the German junior national team , Till Feser played seven games at the U20 World Cup in 1992 , scoring three goals.
In 1996 Till Feser won the Germany Cup '96 with the German national ice hockey team.
