Tim Holler (born February 23, 1991 in Esslingen ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career indoor volleyball
Holler first played indoor volleyball at SV 1845 Esslingen and in 2011 switched to the second team of SV Fellbach , with whom he was promoted to the Regional League South in 2012 and promotion to the 3rd League South in 2013 . Then the outside attacker switched to the first team, which plays in the 2nd Bundesliga South . In 2015 Holler won the championship title here . In February 2018, Tim Holler announced his preliminary withdrawal from the league. In the 2018/19 season he played again with the second team in the 3rd League South.
Career beach volleyball
Holler has played alongside Timo Koch , Lars Lückemeier and others at beach volleyball tournaments in southern Germany since 2011 . Jonas Schröder has been his partner since 2014 , and Holler is now also competing internationally. Holler / Schröder won the Smart Beach Cup in Cologne and became student world champions in Porto . At the Doha Open in November, Holler / Schröder achieved their first victory on the FIVB World Tour . In July 2015 they won the CEV Satellite tournament in Vaduz . At the German Championships in 2015 , Holler / Schröder took third place. Holler won the Smart Super Cup in Münster with Yannick Harms in May 2016 . Due to a protracted injury, Schröder was only able to start twice on the Smart Beach Tour in 2016 and was therefore not eligible to play in the German championships . Instead, Holler competed with Stefan Windscheif and reached seventh place. In 2017 Holler played alongside Clemens Wickler and became German champion with him . On the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 , Tim Holler and his partner from 2013 Lars Lückemeier competed. Holler / Lückemeier achieved fourth place in the German championship .
