Timothy Meadows (born February 5, 1961 in Highland Park , Michigan ) is an American actor and comedian .

Life

Timothy Meadows was born to nurse Mardell and caretaker Lathon Meadows. He studied film at Wayne State University and then played with the improvisational theater group The Second City . He became a member of the television show Saturday Night Live in 1991 and stayed that way until 2000, making him the longest-running ensemble member. The record was only broken in 2005 by Darrell Hammond . During this time he starred in 189 episodes parodies of celebrities such as OJ Simpson , Michael Jackson , Tiger Woods , Oprah Winfrey and Erykah Badu .

His film debut Meadows in 1993 and published by Stephen Surjik staged comedy Wayne's World 2 on the side of Mike Myers , Dana Carvey and Tia Carrere as he Sammy Davis Jr. played. After leaving Saturday Night Live , Meadows made his debut in 2000 as a leading actor in the comedy film The Ladies Man, directed by Reginald Hudlin . However, the film was neither a critical nor a box office success, so Meadows could not establish himself as a leading actor and since then as a supporting actor in films such as Girls Club - be careful! , Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and Grown Ups occurred.

Meadows was married to Michelle Taylor from 1997 to 2005, with whom he has two sons.
