Timothy Blake Taylor (born March 26, 1942 in Natick , Massachusetts , † April 27, 2013 in Branford , Connecticut ) was an American ice hockey player and coach. He is related to the former publishers of the Boston Globe .

Career as a player

He played at Milton Academy , Harvard University and the Waterloo Black Hawks , Warroad Lakers , Manchester Blackhawks and the Framingham Pics .

International

In the US national team he came in 1965 and 1967 to missions, in 1964 as one of the last players from the squad for the 1964 Winter Olympics was deleted.

Career as a coach

After his career as a player, he was first on the coaching team at Harvard University before coaching the ice hockey team at Yale University between 1976 and 2006 .

International

He coached the US team at the 1994 Winter Olympics , the World Ice Hockey Championships 1989 to 1992 and the 1991 Canada Cup .
