Timo Becker (born July 2, 1989 in Kirchheimbolanden ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Timo Becker started playing football at TuS Dexheim and came to SV 1919 Mainz-Gonsenheim via VfR Nierstein . From 2001 he was also a member of the Wiesbaden talent development program. At the age of eighteen he went to the Hessian state capital and joined the FV Biebrich 02 . While he was still eligible to play for the A youth in the first year and won the district cup with her, he was already a member of the district league team. In the 2008/09 season he played with the first team of the Biebrich in the Association League Hesse .

In the following year Becker moved a class higher in the Hessenliga to 1. FC Eschborn , where he asserted himself as a regular player, only to try it after just one year in the Regionalliga Süd at SV Darmstadt 98 . The central defender was unsuccessful there, however, and was only used once late in the season: against the second team of SV Wehen Wiesbaden .

This is exactly where he moved in 2011, and since the team was relegated, his second Hessenliga season followed. Again he was able to convince in the fifth highest division, so that he was also considered for the squad of the first team of the SVWW. When he was nominated for the first time on November 5, he was allowed to play for the first time in stoppage time against Chemnitzer FC and made his professional debut in the third division .
