Tobias Dahm (born May 23, 1987 in Boeblingen , Baden-Württemberg ) is a German athlete . He competes in the shot put .

Dahm works full-time in car development for an automobile manufacturer in Sindelfingen and trains six times a week after work.
Athletic career
In youth Dahm went to the all-around 17 years came at the age of 16, the shot put . For years, Dahm only narrowly missed the 20-meter mark. In 2013 he achieved: 19.96 m, 2014: 19.96 m, 2015: 19.97 m, 2016: initially 19.99 m. At the shot put meeting on February 15, 2016 in Sassnitz , he managed the liberating throw to 20.56 m. With that he had exceeded the indoor world championship standard of 20.50 meters and took part in the 2016 indoor world championships in Portland (Oregon) / USA , where he finished 8th with 20.22 m.
At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, he was eliminated from qualifying for the final fight with 19.62 m.
