Tobias Hack

Tobias Hack (born January 15, 1973 in Villingen, now Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a German theologian .

Life

Tobias Hack grew up in Niedereschach . After graduating from high school in 1992 at the Romäus-Gymnaisum Villingen, he studied Catholic theology from 1992 to 1997 at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg and at the University of Innsbruck . After the pastoral year 1998 as a deacon in Rheinfelden (Baden) and the ordination on May 16, 1999 in Freiburg im Breisgau , he was vicar in the pastoral care unit Oberkirch from 1999 to 2002 .

From 2002 to 2004 he was an academic assistant in the moral theology department of the theological faculty of the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. In 2005 he became a pastoral worker in the March pastoral care unit . From 2005 to 2009 he was an academic assistant in the moral theology department of the theological faculty of the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. From 2009 to 2010 he was a pastoral worker in the March pastoral care unit. After graduating as Dr. theol. (summa cum laude) on July 15, 2010 he was again an academic assistant until 2016 in the moral theology department of the theological faculty of the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. The dissertation was awarded the Alumni Prize of the University of Freiburg on July 16, 2010.

He completed the certified higher education didactic training for post-doctoral candidates and doctoral candidates in Catholic theology to teach theology (Faculty Day / DBK) in 2013/2014. He has been a cooperator in the March- Gottenheim pastoral care unit since 2016 . After completing his habilitation and being awarded the Venia legendi in moral theology on May 31, 2017, he had teaching assignments at the Theological Faculty of Fulda (with Marburg ) and the University of Fulda in 2017/2018 . Since June 2018 he has been teaching as a professor of moral theology and Christian social science at the Fulda Faculty of Theology.

His research interests are medical ethics, questions of the good life, forgiveness and reconciliation and fundamental questions of theological ethics.
