Todd Lamb

Todd Lamb (* 1971 in Enid , Oklahoma ) is an American politician . From 2011 to 2019 he was lieutenant governor of the state of Oklahoma.

Career

Todd Lamb attended Enid High School and then studied at Oklahoma State University . Politically, he joined the Republican Party . In 1993 he was a member of Frank Keating's campaign team. After his election as governor of Oklahoma, Lamb was appointed to his staff. In 1998 he accepted a position at the United States Secret Service , best known as the protective body of the President . In this capacity, Lamb was investigating several threats to the president. In 2000 he supported the presidential campaign of George W. Bush . Then he became a member of the Joint Terrorism Task Force that investigated the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks .

Between 2001 and 2011, Lamb served in the Oklahoma Senate , where he headed the Republican parliamentary group. In 2010 he was elected lieutenant governor of his state alongside Mary Fallin . He held this office from 2011 to 2019. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. In 2014 he was confirmed in office.
