Tom-Patric Kimmel (born May 5, 1990 in Düsseldorf ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with EC Bad Tölz since 2014 .

Career

Kimmel, who won the German junior league with the young eagles Mannheim in 2006 and 2007 with the Cologne young sharks , received a contract with the Cologne sharks for the 2008/09 season with a license for the Herner EV from the ice hockey league . During its first season, the center made its debut for the Haie in the German Ice Hockey League . Until the spring of 2009, Kimmel attended the Cecilien-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf to complete his school career with the Abitur . After spending the 2009/10 season in the United States, where he played for various lower-class junior teams, Kimmel returned to Germany and subsequently received a contract with EV Ravensburg in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey division , with which he played in the 2010 season / 11 won the championship of the 2nd Bundesliga. For the 2012/13 season he moved to league competitor Schwenninger Wild Wings . The Wild Wings were accepted into the DEL in 2013 , in which Kimmel played 21 games in the 2013/13 season. At the same time he played with the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in the DEL2 with a funding license .

International

At the international level, Kimmel represented the U18 team of the German Ice Hockey Federation at the U18 Junior World Championship in 2008 in Kazan, Russia . He achieved an excellent fifth place with the team. He personally contributed two goals and two assists to the success in six tournament games, making him the most successful German scorer alongside Daniel Weiß .
