Tom E. Dahl (born before 1977) is a sound engineer .

Life

Dahl began his career on the film staff in 1977 as a sound mixer while filming Earl Bellamy's action film Speedtrap . After a few more small film productions and television films, his career took off in the mid-1980s, including working on Conan the Destroyer and Number 5 Lives! . 1988 he worked for George Miller's horror comedy The Witches of Eastwick , together with Wayne Artman , Tom Beckert and Art Rochester for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Bernardo Bertolucci's epic film The Last Emperor .

In addition to occasional trips to television, several other major Hollywood productions followed , including Glengarry Glen Ross , Good Will Hunting , Falling Down - A normal day and rush hour . From the mid-1990s, he was mainly involved in Disney productions, including direct-to-video films such as Lady and the Tramp 2: Little Tramp - Big Adventure! , Pocahontas 2 - The Journey into a New World and Cinderella 2 - Dreams come true .
