Tom van der Ven

Tom van der Ven (born March 19, 1991 ) is a Dutch musical performer . His voice is baritone .

Career

Tom van der Ven studied music theater from 2012 to 2016 at the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg . During his training he received singing lessons from Edward Hoepelman and Ingrid Zeegers, as well as acting lessons from Marc Krone, a Dutch director and actor . He also took part in workshops led by the musical actress Pia Douwes .

During his studies he appeared in productions for Into the Woods and Company .

From April 2016 Tom van der Ven played the role of Alfred in the revival of the musical Tanz der Vampire in the Theater des Westens in Berlin . He then accompanied the tour production to Munich , Stuttgart , Hamburg and Cologne until October 2018 .

Since November 2018 he has been on stage as Tink in the premiere cast of Bat Out of Hell at the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen .
