The Im Waldwinkel nature reserve is located in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 20 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1979 , extends southwest of the local community Dörrebach on the eastern edge of county road 32. On the southern edge of the area flows the Lehnbach . The state road 242 runs north and the L 240 south.
The protection purpose is the preservation of the wetland with its intermediate moor and its moist meadows as locations for rare plants and plant communities and as a habitat for rare animal species for scientific reasons.
