Rabenkopf (nature reserve)

The Rabenkopf nature reserve is located in the Bad Kreuznach district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 29 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1978 , extends east of the local community of Langenthal . The state road L 229 runs along the western edge of the area. The 352.6 m high Rabenkopf rises in the area.
The purpose of protection is to preserve the raven's head because of its special geological and geomorphological significance for scientific reasons.
