Tomas Zierhofer-Kin (born October 3, 1968 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian cultural manager .

Life

During his vocal studies at the Salzburg Mozarteum, Tomas Zierhofer-Kin and Markus Hinterhäuser founded the Zeitfluss -Festival as part of the Salzburg Festival in 1993 , in which he offered alternative and unknown art movements.

In 2000 he took several episodes of the radio - Satire The El-Tozki show on (Tozki = Tomas Zierhofer-KIn). In 2001 and 2002 he worked as an advisor to the Munich Senator for Culture. In 2002 he separated from the Zeitfluss Festival and was appointed curator of the Wiener Festwochen , at the same time he opened an Italian restaurant in Vienna . 2005-2016 he was artistic director of Danube Festival in Krems , 2006, music director of the Mozart Festival Kontracom06 in Salzburg.

From 2017 he was director of the Wiener Festwochen . In June 2018, his contract was terminated three years before it expired.
