Tommy Jaud (born July 16, 1970 in Schweinfurt ) is a German writer , screenwriter and author for various television productions.

Career

After graduating from high school, Tommy Jaud did community service in a kindergarten and then began studying German at the University of Bamberg . During his time as a student, Jaud hosted a radio show at Antenne Thüringen and wrote as a freelancer for the Harald Schmidt Show . After dropping out of his studies, he moved to Cologne . Here he worked for various television productions, such as Creative Producer for comedy series Ladykracher and Head Writer for the weekly show of Sat.1 . Jaud also wrote the scripts for the television series LiebesLeben . He also worked as a writer for the heute show . In total, over 4.3 million of his books had been sold by November 2012. Hummeldumm (2010) was the most successful German novel of 2010.

Movies

Idiot in 2006 with Oliver Pocher and Anke Engelke , directed by Tobi Baumann filmed ; It was released on April 12, 2007. Jaud wrote the script himself; he had already worked with Engelke and Baumann at Ladykracher .
