The Toppserien 2016 was the 30th season of the highest women's soccer league in Norway . The season started on March 28 and ended on November 5, 2016. Lillestrøm SK Kvinner became champions for the fourth time and qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League , as did runner-up Avaldsnes IL . IF Urædd had to relegate . Grand Bodø IK rose from the 1st division . The top scorer was Isabell Herlovsen of Lillestrøm SK Kvinner with 30 goals scored.

    Relegation
