The Toppserien 2017 was the 31st season of the highest women's soccer league in Norway . The season began on April 17 and ended on November 4, 2017. Champion was defending champion Lillestrøm SK Kvinner for the fifth time and qualified for the UEFA Women's Champions League as did runner-up Avaldsnes IL . Medkila IL had to dismount . Lyn Oslo rose from the 1st division . The top scorer was Guro Riding from master Lillestrøm with 18 goals scored.
