Tornike Kipiani ( Georgian თორნიკე ყიფიანი ; born December 11, 1987 in Tbilisi ) is a Georgian singer .

Life

In 2014 he won the first season of the Georgian version of The X Factor ; his mentor was Tamta . He took part in the Georgian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017 together with Giorgi Bolotashvili and the song "You Are My Sunshine" and finished 23rd out of 25. On December 31, 2019, Kipiani won the final of the Georgian Idol talent show and should be on Eurovision Song Contest 2020 . On March 3, 2020, the song Take Me As I Am , with which he wanted to participate, was shown for the first time on Georgian television with the accompanying music video. However, the competition had to be canceled on March 18, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic . Now he should start at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 .
