Tako Gatchechiladze
Tamara "Tako" Gatchetschiladze ( Georgian თამარა "თაკო" გაჩეჩილაძე ; born March 17, 1983 in Tbilisi ) is a Georgian singer .
Tako Gatchetschiladze was a member of the band Stephane & 3G , which was supposed to represent Georgia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow . However, the band was disqualified because their title We don't wanna put in was seen as a criticism of Russia's President Vladimir Putin (“We don't wanna Putin”).
In the Georgian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 , Gatchechiladze was able to achieve 14 percent of the votes from among 25 participants, so that she was allowed to represent Georgia in Kiev with the pop ballad Keep the Faith, which she wrote and composed . However, she could not qualify for the final of the competition after participating in the first semi-final.
