Torture Ship
The Torture Ship (also known as the SM ship ) has been a BDSM and fetish party that has been taking place annually on the penultimate or last Saturday in June or the first Saturday in July since 1996 on a ship of the Bodensee-Schiffsbetriebe that has been declared a dance ship .

The fetish party organized by an Augsburg agency with around 500 to 700 guests (in 2016 there were 700 party guests on board) is the world's largest SM and fetish party on a moving barge. Four DJs and BDSM / fetish exhibitors operate on two floors. There were several bar areas on the ship.
After a show with around 2000 onlookers in the port of Friedrichshafen , the ship leaves at 7.45 p.m. It reaches 20:55 the harbor of Konstanz . There more guests climb aboard in the presence of hundreds of onlookers. At 9:30 p.m. it goes back to Friedrichshafen to pick up any late guests. The ship then travels twice to Konstanz and once to Friedrichshafen. The trip ends in Constance at 5:30 a.m.
A shuttle bus is used for guests from Augsburg and Munich .

Until 2014, the agency always chartered the motor ship Schwaben of the shipping company Bodensee-Schiffsbetriebe GmbH (BSB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Stadtwerke Konstanz GmbH . A slightly smaller ship has been in use since 2015.
Controversy
Starting with the 2015 event, due to official orders, the darkroom and other “separate facilities for sexual acts” will be dispensed with. The Augsburger Allgemeine called the 2016 event a controversial spectacle .
