The sea ​​rescue boat (SRB) Trientje was the first boat of the so-called 7-meter class of the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked People (DGzRS). It was founded in 1971 by the Evers - shipyard in Niendorf built. The internal name was KRST 11.

Naming

The name Trientje is a Frisian woman's name. In November 1992 the SRB was renamed Mövenort , the name of the northern tip of the island of Rügen .

Technical Equipment

The lifeboat was equipped with radio systems, a third-party bilge pump and a rescue port.

Stationings

The first station was Maasholm . From there it was relocated to Ueckermünde for a short time on 1992 ; The transfer to Freest took place on November 19, 1992 , where the boat was renamed Mövenort .

The DGzRS decommissioned the boat in July 1993. The boat was sold to an association in Schilksee , from which it was named Günther Bresse . This association sold the boat into private hands in 2000.

Today (2005) the boat is in a restored and functional condition in a marina on the Rhine-Herne Canal .
