The Troilus Gold Canada Cup 2020 took place from February 21 to 25, 2020 in the Canadian city of Toronto . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2019/20 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Silver category .
Last year's winner was Diego Elías , who lost to the eventual winner Tarek Momen in the semifinals . Momen, who started the tournament in the top position, prevailed again in the final in the new edition of the World Championship final three months earlier against Paul Coll with 15:13, 11: 5 and 11: 8.
The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 24 players. The eight best players were seeded and given a bye in the first round. Per Wildcard got Michael McCue a spot in the main draw.
At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 79,500.
