The Trualbe (also: Trualb , French: Ruisseau d'Eppenbrunn ) is a 9 km long tributary of the Hornbach . The Trualbe with its tributaries drains the extreme southwest of the Palatinate Forest and the southeast of the Zweibrücker hill country . The Hornbach carries the name "Trualbe" as a second name up to the town of the same name.

geography

course

The Trualbe rises on the northeastern outskirts of Trulben and flows through the place in a southwestern direction. At the Trulbermühle, the Eppenbrunn stream of the same size joins from the left . From here the further course is mainly directed to the west, past the Schweixer - and Hilster mills . Below the Hilster Mühle, the Trualbe leaves German territory and flows into the Grand Est region , into the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park . It passes Walschbronn and flows into the Hornbach from the right at Waldhouse , which flows to the Schwarzbach , which in turn joins the Blies .
