Chervone ( Ukrainian Червоне ; Russian Червоное Tscherwonoje ) is a village in the western part of the Ukrainian Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Kryvyi Rih Raion with 819 inhabitants.

The village, founded in 1937, is located in the north of Krywyj Rih Raion in the Krywbass iron ore basin between Shovti Vody, 23 km to the north, and 48 km to the south of the city center of Krywyj Rih , the capital of the Rajon , to whose agglomeration it belongs.

The territorial road Т – 04–18 and the Kryvyi Rih - Pyatychatky railway line pass the village . The nearest train station is in the neighboring village of Rjadowe ( Рядове ) , part of the Hannivka ( Petrowe) municipality , 0.5 km away.

Community structure

Tscherwone is the administrative center of the district council of the same name. It is bordered to the west by the Petrowe Raion of Kirovohrad Oblast , to the north by the Pyatychatky Raion, to the east by the Sofiyivka Raion and to the south by the city of Kryvyi Rih.
