The village is located in Krywyj Rih district west of the city of Krywyj Rih on the bank of the Karachunivka reservoir and is the center of the district council of the same name with a total of 2030 inhabitants and an area of 4884 hectares . The village Radhospne ( Радгоспне ⊙ ) with about 270 inhabitants and an area of 89 hectares also belongs to the district council. The national trunk road N 23 runs through the municipality .
