Tschornorudka ( Ukrainian Чорнорудка ; Russian Чернорудка Tschernorudka , Polish Czarnorudka ) is a village in the southeast of the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 1000 inhabitants (2001).

In the village, which was founded in 1620, the Kozyatyn - Fastiv railway line of the Southwest Railway was built in 1870 , the associated station building and water tower of which are still preserved today.

Tschornorudka was an independent district council until July 2018 and since then belongs administratively to the rural community of Bystriivka in the north of Ruschyn Rajon .

The location situated at an altitude of 242  m on the shore of Postil ( Постіл ), a 31-km long, left tributary of Ros -Zuflusses Rostawyzja ( Роставиця ), 18 km west of the community center Bystrijiwka ( Бистріївка , ) 20 km northwest of the Rajonzentrum Ruzhyn and about 60 km southeast of the Zhytomyr Oblast center .

The T-06-06 territorial road runs through the village .
