The Tschytschkan ( Russian and Kyrgyz Чычкан ) is a right tributary of the Naryn in Kyrgyzstan ( Central Asia ).

The Tschytschkan rises in the far east of the Talas-Alatau . It initially flows in an arc to the east, where it meets the M41 trunk road from Bishkek to Osh . Coming from the east, this leads over the Alabel Pass into the Tschytschkan valley and then runs along the river to the south. The Tschytschkan breaks through the western part of the Suusamyrtoo mountain range in a southerly direction, passes the town of Balatschytschkan and flows into the Toktogul reservoir west of the city of Toktogul on the north bank of the Toktogul reservoir . The Tschytschkan has a length of 78 km. It drains an area of 1150 km². The mean discharge is 23 m³ / s.
