The Tschytschkan breaks through the western part of the Suusamyrtoo mountain range in a southerly direction, passes the town of Balatschytschkan and flows into the Toktogul reservoir west of the city of Toktogul on the north bank of the Toktogul reservoir . The Tschytschkan has a length of 78 km. It drains an area of 1150 km². The mean discharge is 23 m³ / s.
