Tsepang Sello (* 23. February 1997 in Maseru ) is a Lesotho athlete who in middle distance running compete.

Athletic career

Tsepang Sello gained her first international experience in 2014 at the African Youth Games in Gaborone , where she took eighth place in the 3000 meter run with 10: 30.42 minutes. She then took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , where she finished third in the B final in 9: 59.47 minutes. The following year, she took part for the first time in the Africa Games in Brazzaville , where she was eliminated in the 800-meter run with 2: 14.87 minutes in the lead, while she finished eleventh over 1500 meters in 4: 34.89 minutes. At the 2016 African Championships in Durban , she did not make it to the finals over 800 meters with 2: 15.03 min, but thanks to a wildcard she was allowed to take part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she finished with 2: 10.22 min Prelim was eliminated. In 2017 she took part in the Summer Universiade in Taipei , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round with 2: 11.93 min, as well as at the Commonwealth Games 2018 in the Australian Gold Coast with 2: 06.54 min. In August she did not reach the final over 800 meters at the African Championships in Asaba with 2: 09.03 min, but was tenth in the 1500 meter run in 4: 27.64 min. In 2019 she took part again in the Africa Games in Rabat and was eliminated there with 2: 11.53 minutes in the preliminary round. She was then disqualified in the first round at the World Championships in Doha .
